Restaurant for that special occasion?

We're off to DLP for our Honeymoon (with kids 6/2) for 5 days in Nov. We're stopping at the Newport Bay and I would like to take everyone for a special surprise celebration meal. Can anyone suggest anywhwere? I've looked at the restaurant thread and 'Walt's' looks good....even better if we could get a window seat during a parade. Would anyone recommend this??? How early would I have to book, before we go or when we check in? Any info greatly received.

Walt's would be great. I'm sure the kids would enjoy it
Another option might be Blue Lagoon. This comes highly recommended especially for the theming

Eating at Walt's while watching Fantillusion was the highlight of our last trip If you want to do that, I would suggest waiting until you know the time of Fantillusion and then book a table for about an hour before. Ring the dining reservation a couple of weeks before you go, and mention that a window table would be wonderful If you also say that it's for a celebratory meal on your honeymoon, I'm certain you will get one.
