Restaurant.com Cert for HOB

Restaurant.com is having their 80% off promo through 1/13. I'm thinking about getting a cert for us to use at HOB. We have another family traveling with us. If I got 2 certs, would we each be able to use one? It seems like we weren't allowed to do that at WDW, but I don't see any restrictions about it now that I'm looking at the DL one. Anyone know? This would be my 2nd time to use Rest.com, so I'm not very familiar with how it works from one place to another.

I may call them (HOB) tomorrow to check on it, too....

I would sit at two tables. But do note that it adds a 18% service charge and you must spend a minimum to get the discount. There are two ,one for twice as much as the other. So consider this and if it is worth it to get two or to sit together.

You have to sit at 2 tables and act like you don't know each other. These coupons (they are not gift certificates, more like coupons) cannot be combined so you can only use one per group, per table, even if you get separate checks.

We used our Restaurant.com for HOB on our last trip. The $25 cert is off total of at least $35, $50 cert you must spend $100. (4 steak entres will do it)
I've been weighing out if I should get this again for our trip next month, but I'm going to skip it. The food was very expensive, and I don't care for the choices myself. You can check the prices and menu on the sticky at the top of the DL threads.

We know that we'd be going with a large party to HOB, so we bought one of the bigger gift certificate options. But then I called last week to make a reservation for eight, and they said they could not accommodate parties larger than 6. So we ended up having to split into two separate reservations at two separate tables anyway.

It seems unusual that they can't seat more than six people together anywhere in the restaurant.

We used the HOB gift cert last month. I have to say that I agree that the prices are pretty high and we had terrible service.

Our waiter is one of those who doesn't write anything down when taking orders so of course he screwed up. I ended up getting a completely different meal, which I should have just kept because it looked a lot better than my Shrimp Po Boy tasted. I never even got the water I ordered, despite asking our server for it several times and drinks were not refilled. It was terrible!

I ended up getting my correct dinner when everyone else was already done with their dinner. My 4 and 7 year old were absolutely done and ready to get out of there.

Just not a very pleasant experience.

This is all very valuable information as I almost got one for HOB this past weekend, but decided to wait. I think we will find other places to eat while on our trip!

Thanks for the responses. We really enjoyed HOB at WDW, but maybe should skip it this time. Especially since there will be 8 of us (4 adults, 4 small kids) and we'd definitely want to sit together.

So far, we've only booked Storyteller's for a character breakfast the morning we leave for our DCL cruise. We may be doing several meals in our room (DVC) since nothing is really interesting me. Kind of bummed about that, but it will save me lots of $$$!
