Resorts Ice Cream v. Gelato

In the past several years, it appears many of the resorts have gotten rid of their hand-dipped ice cream and replaced it with Gelato. Is there a list somewhere that has which resorts have what in terms of ice cream? For our immediate future, does anyone know if All Star Sports has hand-dipped as well as gelato, or do they just have gelato now? If only gelato, anyone know about music? I know movies has regular hand-dipped ice cream.

For the best ice cream we rely on the France pavillion or Ample Hills.

I can't speak to your questions specifically, but I looked at the All Star Sports menu on wdwinfo.com, which was last updated in July, and the dessert menu lists both an "ice cream sundae" as well as a "Mickey shaped gelato sundae". So it sounds to me like they have both.

If you can't find any other info, I would suggest posting on each resort's FAQ thread. Lots of resort-specific experts and those who have just returned. Also, the Dis Unplugged did their 7-in-7 resort reviews fairly recently which can be found on YouTube. Not sure if they covered this specifically, but worth a watch anyway.
