Resort Wake-Up Call - Stitch

Does anyone else find the wake up call that the resorts use utterly annoying and inappropriate? I mean given all of the characters that Disney could use (i.e. Fab 5 for starters), why would they choose Stitch to yell at you every morning? I would think that Disney could do so much better than that.

Slightly annoying - perhaps. Inappropriate?? - Not really. Stitch is a popular Disney character...not sure what's inappropriate about it. My kids sure thought it was funny.

I hate to be the " how it used to be" guy because I love improvements and changes at wdw, bit the mickey call was something the kids would do even when we didn't have to get up. We always did it first thing because that told us we were officially there

Well, in that case, I think any alarm clock is inappropriate. I love my sleep.

HAHA, I must agree with this. I think its why I now tend to wake up minutes before before my alarm goes off. Such an annoying sound. DH used to play music to wake up to -- to me that only made me go into a deeper sleep.

We're heavy sleepers. An alarm has to annoy the snot out of me or I'll fall back to sleep. Stitch would really do the trick.

Is this it? I think I only tried the wake up call once.. this was way back in 2005. I would prefer Mickey over Stitch.

Anyway, how is Stitch inappropriate? In my family's eyes, nobody would be better than Stitch .

I kinda got annoyed last week when he was screaming in my ear. It was much more pleasant to hear Mickey wake me up.

Love Stitch. Love the wake up call with Stitch. Miss the monorail messages with saying welcome to Stitch kingdom. We even named our dog Stitch. It's a matter of personal opinion, but just because you are not a fan doesn't make it inappropriate.

we are here now - a few days it's been Stitch and a few it's been Mickey. Not sure how they choose, but my kids love both.

They happily roll out of bed at o dark thirty to answer the phone and see who it is..
