Which is easier? Taking your own luggage to French Quarter from Music or asking for Disney to transfer? I am coming in 1 night early so that I can do water park on package arrival day, hence Music reservation. Should I ask Disney to transfer the luggage from Music to French Quarter (package resort) if I am planning on having dinner in a park that evening? Would the luggage get to the new resort by 3:00?
I will have a car so either I can just keep luggage in the car while at waterpark (BB) or go to French Quarter and drop off at bell services and then head back to water park.
Or would it be smarter to have breakfast at FQ instead of Music, drop off luggage and then head to water park.

I wouldn't keep the luggage in the car while at a water park, don't need anything overheating. I would just drive to FQ and drop off the bags.

Easier depends entirely on the person and their plans for the day.

If you want your bags by 3, drop them yourself at POFQ or keep them (but beware of overheating).

If you are fine not receiving your bags until 6pm use Disney's transfer service. They try to get your bags in by 5pm, usually they arrive earlier but I have had them as late as 5:30pm so my rule is 6pm. I track with airtags so I know if they have arrived before I contact bell services.

Alternatively have Disney move your bags and bring only what you need for dinner to the waterpark. That is the option I would chose if I had dinner plans and a car as I don't like having to move my bags around.
