Resort stay in Dec. at POR

Im so very nervous! We went to WDW last Nov for the first time ever and are now hooked!! I'm planning a surprise trip for Dec 05. We really loved POP Century but there are five us so I booked POR. I think we'll love POR, won't we?? Also just how bad are the crowds really Christmas week? I know it's bad, will we still enjoy ourselves? In November we were there the week before and week of Thanksgiving, leaving Thanksgiving Day. Two days leading up to and the day of Tday were very busy. Could I use this as a comparable or is it not even close? Just .. someone tell me it'll be okay! I know it's better to go at slower times, but I teach. I don't feel right taking a week off just go to to WdW. Thanks
