Resort Section Request

Hello, we are staying at Coronado Springs in June, and always get a Preferred Room, but none were available this time. We like to be near Bus Stop #2 (First on, First off), so I was going to request Casistas Building 4, since it is not preferred, or Ranchos 7B, looks like a nice location as well. How far in advance should you call and put your request in, we have never had to do that before, so I wasn't sure, if you put it in too early, it would get lost, should you wait until a few days ahead of your arrival?

You can add your request any time form the day you book up until 4-5 days out. When in that timeframe doesn't matter. Your requests will be noted on your reservation so no getting lost.

Not that I do not trust the reservations CM's I usually put in the request when I make the reservation and then I will call a week or two before check-in just to be sure

You called Disney reservations? If so, you got a crappy CM who is bad at their job. Call again.

I've used the request form on Touring Plans . com. You can even request specific rooms. But I have also put the request in to be close to the fitness center (which is located at Casitas 4).

Just as @GADisneyDad14 said, unfortunately you got a CM that is either misinformed or really bad at their job.

After much thought we actually decided to upgrade to a 1 Bedroom Villa at SSR, I called to make the change because MDE wasn't working correctly, and the CM had no problem putting in a request, she even put in a very specific request because of the trouble I had with the other CM. I know it is not guaranteed, but I did appreciate her going over and beyond to help. Thanks for the info.
