Resort question for parents familiar w/Autism spectrum

Our beanbag has been a lifesaver! I didn't know they made them with the memory foam. I'll have to look into it. If I'm able to find them for less $$, I'll post it. I'll check w/DS's OT, she has been such a fabulous source of information.

Thanks for all the great advice! DS can be so hard to predict.

There has to be a cheaper source. The one we found was in a futon store. My Dad was buying a futon for a bed. Gosh for what we spent that day they should have sold us the bean bag chair for half off.

Just to be sure..check out comfysacks.com. Is that what I'm looking for?

For what it's worth, in may case both DH and DD are on the spectrum, and what we've found works best is either a Beach Club or Boardwalk Villa, or the Swan or Dolphin. I'm not sure if the S&D have special rates for firefighters, but it would be worth asking. They tend to be pretty serene and comfortable, but when they need to get out of EPCOT and back to the room, they can do so immediately without getting on a crowded bus.

Also, if they need to "take a moment" they can walk back from the Disney MGM studios, and they can head back on the monorail (usually less crowded) from the Magic Kingdom and walk through EPCOT, which sometimes help them when we're leaving the Magic Kingdom.

This being said, we've also stayed at Port Orleans and the Wilderness Lodge, and both were comfortable, and they both did okay.

Of those options, the Wilderness Lodge is the most serene, and offers a nice calming boat ride before and after you hit the Magic Kingdom.
