On days that are spent mostly by the resort pools, what all do you keep on you in your pool bag or what do you keep at the pool chairs that you use? I have gotten my basic list going but wanted to see if you had any creative ideas I might could take from. Thanks.

Since the hotel room is close, you don’t need to pack a ton down there. I don’t usually even take a bag. I sunscreen up in the room and usually just take my phone and a book to the pool. Towels are already there.

Phone, sunscreen, water if I have a bottle around, kindle, hat if we will be there a while, I have brought mini bottles of alcohol on occasion as we get them as a welcome gift when we stay at certain hotels thanks to my husband's status. I have a Kyss bag so I can lock it and attach it to the pool lounger. I usually also wear at least a cover-up and usually quick dry shorts in case I need to look presentable.

Whenever we plan to spend a whole day at the pool, we will bring sunscreen, chap stick with sunscreen, lotion (I hate how dry the pool water makes my feet - a weird thing I have lol), phones, headphones, book/magazine, and I have towel clips to secure my towel on the back of my chair. I just use the plastic oversize clothes pins from the Dollar Tree. We usually get our food and drinks from the pool bar, so we also bring our magic bands.

I also have a KYSS bag and it makes me feel much better about locking our phones in it to go swimming.

Several days we will arrive and the room won't be ready till most likely in the late afternoon.

Sunscreen, sunglasses and my MB to get into the pool area and charge any purchases. I found that particularly helpful after I took my DS to the rest room at BC and discovered I'd really like some take-out ice cream from Beaches & Cream :) That's all I've ever needed!

We don't use a bag for the pool. Sunscreen, magic band, bottle of water, maybe a book, and towels get left on the chair. Sunglasses usually stay on my face or head. We don't take our phones to the pool.

My Nook , phone, glass case to put my sunglasses in if I go into the pool, some money to buy a beverage or 2 in case the MB thing doesn't work at the pool bar and sunscreen. If I am not wearing a cap it is in my bag.

Phone and battery to charge it, sunscreen, sun glasses, resort mug (although that ends up on the table), sometimes a camera, chap stick, a hat.

I think that’s enough!

If the pool is close to the room, I later the kids up with sunscreen before we head down and we just leave our sandals at a chair by the pool. I wear my sunglasses and magic band and get a towel at the pool.

If the pool is further away/ checking out multiple pools that day/ going into a building at some point, then I'll bring a small bag with sunscreen, phone, mugs, and clothes/deodorant/hairbrush (if needed).
