Resort Payment??

I am making my payments little by little so it will all be paid off before I go in September. They only sent me one envelope to send my deposit in. I have the address (from the back of the confirmation paper) but do you think it will get lost in the mail?

I used to send mine with a delivery confirmation...I have even sent an over-night(different address)...but sending in the mail, as long as you have the address, just make sure to put your ressies on it.

You could also call and make a payment with your debit card, or sometimes you can do it on the internet. Usually, once they receive a payment, they send another confirmation and envelope out.

Disney has been cheap with the ressie confirmations lately. I haven't received one for my last several trips. I changed my December ressie (switched resorts) last week and asked for a confirmation. The woman said, "you can print it from disneyworld.com." I told her I'd prefer to receive one. I doubt I'll ever see it.

About paying on your resort....just type up a nice letter with your confirmation number and pertinent details and mail that along with your payment. Request an updated confirmation but don't hold your breath.

I guess I could overnight it through work to make SURE they get it.

I wrote the ressie # on the check and copied my original confirmation letter and will include that on the package.

We are doing the same thing. I have made 2 payments so far (online) and have received new, confirmations mailed to me within a week. I talked to someone last week about adding a "no smoking room" preferred note and I got a new confirmation on that one as well...

In feb, as I made payments, I received new confirmation letters with the balance on them. I have also called and made payments on line.

Overnighting it means NOTHING. I had legal documents overnighted to me and they NEVER arrived. Pay over the phone with a debit card if you can.

If you decide to overnight the room only payment there is a different address to mail it to. You can always go online to disneyworld.com and click on "My Disney Vacation." You will then be prompted to enter your reservation number and your telephone number. Remember that if you booked your room only ressie online that you cannot make additional payments until you check in at the Resort. You can only make additional payments if you booked your room only ressie over the phone. =)
