We are getting in on the morning of the Friday after Thanksgiving. For multiple reasons we are not visiting a park that day. Everyone that I'm traveling with have never been to a Disney resort and all but 2 of us (party of 8) have actually never even been to Disney. So we were thinking of heading over to a resort that afternoon to walk around before we can check into our off-site condo. Thinking of either Contemporary or Grand Floridian and possibly riding around on the Monorail...a kind of hop on hop off experience for everyone. Question - how difficult is it to park at a resort and do this? Assuming there is a cost...does anyone know what that is? I'm just getting myself all confused looking at Disney's website....Thanks! T-

On that day, you'll either have to valet park or have a meal reservation to get into those lots. Otherwise, you can park at the transportation and ticket center and jump on the resort monorail. That will cost you $20.

Yikes, my brain is mush! I can totally figure that out on my own...I see it's $25...thanks!!!

Why not just park in one of the theme park lots and then take Disney transportation to the resort? The cost to park in the theme park lots is $20 and you don't need to tip. :teeth:

You may want to consider doing a Disney Springs Day. Go to Disney Springs and explore for a while, then jump on one of the buses to the resorts to explore for a while. Parking is free at Disney Springs.
