Resort Parking Fees

For a while now Disney has "cash grabbed" at any opportunity it could find.....and us as fans have just "eatin it" because we love Disney....and we do what we do. I get it ....they are a corporation....and they answer to shareholders....and they are obligated to squeeze every penny out of their money making machine. And they will continue to do so as long as demand exceeds supply. They've always been the company that would spend $1 to make $2. Except lately they've been spending several billion to make many billions more. I guess my problem with the way it happened was that it was quick and it was huge. If they had put out notice and made it a nominal fee of $3-5/night and eased into it...it wouldve been better for PR. Because if it's $9-$24 today....in a few years it'll be $20-$50. Seems like there's 3 options.....write letters of protest to every Disney Exec you can find an address for.......boycott and don't go.....or take it like every other increase. I've already fired off a few emails.....and seriously considering a break. Thoughts?

The parking fees won't apply to me. I suppose I am supposed to boycott or send emails in solidarity with those who are affected.

Thing is, I don't think emails or letters of protest would help. This was a long time coming and it's here to stay.

Maybe someday I'll go with the boycott. Just decline to renew my AP. I know a lot of people who already have. But it won't be because I think I'm going to teach Disney a lesson. They won't miss me, others will take my place.
