We are running away from the snow and cold next week. On our non park days would like a good, budget friendly, meal at a resort or Disney Springs. Is that possible for under $50/person? About the only kind of food we wouldn't be interested in is BBQ.

I believe so. Our last trip we went to DS one evening with no reservations around dinner time. Went to Cookes of Dublin for the first time. It’s counter service but we found a table and they brought us the food when it was ready. Easily under $50 pp. There are lots of similar options. If you want table service with an alcoholic beverage and a dessert with every meal, that may not be so easy.

We tried Cookes of Dublin for the first time last trip and LOVED it! Very happy because we no longer care for Yorkshire Fish & Chips.

Paradisio 37 in DS. Ate there for an early dinner last month. Not bad pricing for the Disney bubble & generous portion sizes (we both left full from the burger & tacos). We had a great experience & I left a positive review on Y**p where I then read a lot of mixed bad reviews. :confused3

Look at some menus ahead of time to get ideas or wander around looking at places before deciding (what we did).

At resorts around Crescent Lake, Trattoria al Forno on the Boardwalk side, Ale & Compass at the Yacht Club, Fountain Grill at the Dolphin. We have made same day ADRs at TaF and A&C without difficulty.

These are great suggestions. We eat QS when we are in the parks and would like a better meal on our non park days.

Olivia's at Old Key West. They have what is arguably the best tofu curry at Disney, one of the best I've ever had anywhere. Their fried chicken is also pretty amazing! You could take a bus to Disney Springs and then the boat to OKW... make an experience out of getting there and back!
