Hi there,

We want to visit this resort on a Non-Park day and want to know what there is to do there. Do you have any recommendations on restaurants, activities, scavenger hunts or hidden Mickey's?

I want my fiance to get the resort bug, so anything special about this resort that we can do would be great.

Thanks
Samantha:)

The Whispering Canyon Cafe is a great restaurant to go to, but be prepared....it can be noisy. The wait staff is a riot, and get the guests involved in the whole dining experience. This is a great place for a fun, light-hearted dinner (definitely NOT the place to go to if you're looking for a quiet, romantic dinner ;) ). Have your fiance ask for some ketchup and see what happens.........

After dinner, take a stroll out to the pool. It's the most beautiful Disney pool I've ever seen. We've done this many times and no one seems to mind. Wander around the property and take in the beauty and detail of this wonderful resort. There's a geyser that spouts (?) every 10 minutes or so.

If you're there at night, take a walk out to the lake and watch the Water Pageant drift by.

We never had an opportunity to look for hidden mickey's at this resort, but I'm sure there are lots!

Love this resort, they have hidden mickies just ask at the front desk. Maybe rent bikes and bike over to Fort Wilderness camp grounds. If you are in to a loud good time, we enjoy the Whispering Canyons Cafe at dinner. The food is okay but the servers are a hoot!!!
