Resort Hopping help please-Animal Kingdom Lodge

Hi there,

We want to visit this resort on a Non-Park day and want to know what there is to do there. Do you have any recommendations on restaurants, activities, scavenger hunts or hidden Mickey's?

I want my fiance to get the resort bug, so anything special about this resort that we can do would be great.

Here's some of the things that we liked.

All the viewing area's to see the animals which is what this place is all about.

The lobby, it is beautiful & interesting. It is like a museum with interesting displays. Nice seating areas.

The pool bar, nice to sit around & enjoy a cool summer drink.

The CM's were very nice, informative & friendly. It was interesting to talk to some of the CM's from African countries.

Boma's had a very nice buffet.

They also have a tour (i think around 3pm) of the lodge.

You may not have to do much more than bring your fiance into the lobby. It's stunning. I knew I had to stay there the first time I walked through the door.

Along with beccab's suggestions, I'd also suggest the storytime in the evenings.
