We're coming in June and want to spend our first day resort hopping. We're staying in Coronado and primarily want to see the monorail resorts, the Boardwalk(s), Animal Kingdom, and Port Orleans. Any best practices suggestions? We want to end up at Disney Springs - maybe breakfast at a resort. Or, is starting as Disney Springs an easier way to do it? Thanks!

You could take the bus to MK and get the monorail, then last resort , bus to HS then you can walk over to boardwalk or take Skyliner or boat. Go back to HS take bus to AKL. Then bus to AK and get Port Orleans bus and then boat to DS

Morning bus from CS to AK (AK isn't very far from CS), short bus ride from AK to AKL to Boma for breakfast. AKL bus to MK, where you can hop on the monorail for those resorts. From MK bus depot, take a bus to BC/YC/BW/Swan or Dolphin for the BW area. When done there, walk or Skyliner to HS, catch the bus to PO. PO boat to DS for dinner and shopping in the evening. Bus back to CS.

That's the scenario I came up with, as I enjoy Boma breakfast and DS dinner!! Have fun.

if running, you can take the water boat to Port from Disney Springs

Definitely check on the "if running" part. In early June, there's a good chance it's not going to be running. The water levels get too low in the spring/early summer if it's a dryer spring (which has been the case more recently).

@thanxfornoticin has a good itinerary; it's about as efficient as you'll get. I would just suggest that, in the morning, take a ride share to AKL for Boma instead of two busses. It won't be too expensive and you could potentially lose a lot of time with the bus transfer (reasonable worst case, you might have to wait 30 minutes for a bus from CS to AK, and then another 20-30 minutes for the bus from AK to AKL, which is really tough when you're trying to time a Boma reservation). I don't like to use parks as transfer stations, especially around park open times, and especially if I have a dining reservation -- too much can go wrong.

Going to be a bus to wherever you start.

Maybe: Bus to MK, monorail to Poly, breakfast there. Monorail resorts hop. End with Contemporary, bus to HS hub.
Skyliner to BW, tour area, back to HS hub and bus to AKL.
From there bus to DS, boat to POR.
