Resort Guest FOTL w/ not resort guests?

We'll be going to Universal this summer and staying at the resorts. Friends who live in Orlando will be going to the parks with us, but won't be staying at the resort. Will they get to go to FOTL with us? Does everyone in your party need to show their room key?

Everybody needs a room key. They can get express, either the free one or via purchase, but they wont get your privleges.

You can share the room keys among the group. They don't check id's they just check that you have a valid room key. So, if for instance, you don't want to go on a particular ride you can lend your key to a friend.
