Somewhere I heard that resort guests could make ADRs for their entire stay (10 days of less) at the ADR window for their check-in date, in effect getting a few days "head start" on some ADRs. The dining agent with which I spoke had no clue about this. Was this a short time promotion or just a rumor or can it be done and how? Also, does this only apply to the "usual" 180 day window or also for other (Bistro is 30d) windows? Is it supposed to be easy and I just got a clueless dining agent? Any clarification would be appreciated. thanks,

You may have gotten a clueless agent.

If you are going to be staying at one of the Disney owned and operated resorts and have a confirmation number you can make your dining reservations for your entire stay (but no more than ten days) 180 days prior to your date of arrival.

I just made my ADR's for our Sept. trip and the agent I had was confused and had to put me on hold to double check the 180+10 rule. At the time I was done with all but two of my days and she tried to say that she thought that it was putting me over the allowed booking time frame. I told her no and that it was 180 days out I could book up to 10 days of my trip. Sure enough after checking she said that that was correct. I was never asked for a confirmation number though. Just told them where we were staying. Maybe they just check that the name is in the system. :confused3

I'm having a stupid moment....I've been to WDW twice now and I thought that you could make ADR's only 60 days out. Did it change or have I been living in a fog? :confused3

I had changed from 90 days out to 180 days for all visitors and 180 + additional 10 days for onsite guests.

I am always asked for my/my clients booking reference, date of check in and which resort all of which are noted in the booking.

What can I do about my 14th night? Can I book 180 and 4 days???? I was hoping to get a Rose & Crown Illuminations and want to book early for a table of 7!!!!!!!!

What you could try is to wait for 176 days from arrival. That would be 180 days from your 4th day and you can go to 190 from there.

Thanks. I will do that. I will book the ones up to the 10 days as I would like at Saturday at V & A and this could be popular. And then four days later try for the 14th night.

Thanks for your help.

Just keep being insistent with the CM's, I called to add another reservation to my booking and got the most rude CM I have come across in a long time .... first off she told me I could not do 180+10, I said we could, she argued back, and I asked her to please at least try it and to trust me we could ..... again she reiterated they were only accepting bookings up to 9/26 ... I nicely but firmly asked to check with her supervisor as I had already secured reservations for 10/4 and the reply was "Well that's wonderful for you!!" her tone was sooo sarcastic, i was raging, so I put the phone down on her and called back.

the next CM said the same thing, but I asked him again to try as it can be done for onsite guests and to trust me .... he laughed and secured the booking I wanted ..... Job done, but what a hassle.

Maybe I appear a little harsh but calling from the UK means no freephone number so i am paying international dialling rates for incompetent service ..... nuh-uh.

I wonder if they have some separate calling bank for incoming international calls (though why I cannot imagine), because I've never encountered CMs like that at CRO.

I called on Tuesday - the 180 day window for our first night there. I was able to make the ADRs for the entire week, no problems. The woman who helped me just asked for my resort and confirmation number before we started, and then expected me to make ADRs for the entire trip. I guess I just got lucky (or maybe they're learning?).

I believe the calls are all routed to the same point, I was just unfortunate, I call them a lot and she was the first rude CM I have ever encountered.
