Resort gift shop?

Has anyone that is there now, or just returned shopped at the resort gift shops or even in the parks shops seen the deals if you spend so much $ you get this free? Last time we got a watch, towel and luggage Depending on where we were. And I can not remember how much we had to spend to get those. Just wondering as I would luv to get the same kind of deals this time

We were there earlier this month and the specials varied sometimes. There was one that was at most places and it was if you spent $25 (I think) you could get an expandable duffle back for 16.99 or if you spent $40 you could get a pin set for $17. I am not exactly sure on those amount. I remember on previous trips that it would change 1/2 way through and we would get a different spend this by that promotion and I asked a CM about this and she said they don't change them that often anymore and the one mentioned above just started and would probably last between 3 - 6 months.

I'll also add in that the "gift with purchase" sometimes varies between locations. Not all of the resort gift stores had the same offer as the parks and DTD. I didn't see any rhyme or reason to the differences.

Thank you for the replies!! Now reading what you posted I remember that I did pay a special price. The way I worded it was I got it free. What I was looking for was any baggage deals so I am happy that there is one Thanks again

The duffel is really nice. We bought 2 of them, one we packed zipped up and the other we used as a carry on because we bought too much stuff!

I wish I had that for my trip last year. I bought the Mickey tote bag and I stuffed it full and stuff almost fell out when it was going through the baggage check. I now know to bring an extra big suitcase and a bigger carry on for souvenirs.
