resort decorations for xmas

Does anyone have any suggestions on what the best resorts are to visit for xmas decorations and the best gingerbread creations? We would like to spend an afternoon doing this...

Several years ago, we happened upon the Beach Club as they were finishing their gingerbread carousel. It was great. We were the the week following Thanksgiving. The Gbread house at the Grand Floridian is also neat.

All of the resorts look lovely at Christmas time, some just a little bit better. As a rule, I'd say that the decorations become more elaborate as you climb up the price scale. IE: Deluxe more elaborate than Moderates, and Moderates more than Values.

In regards to Gingerbread, my vote goes for the Grand Floridian. They erect a very large gingerbread house in the lobby. I have pictures of it on another PC. I'll find and post them...

I agree that all the resorts are all decked out for the holidays. Deluxes are more elaborate than the values, but all are decorated. There was a special on the Food Network last year about the full size gingerbread house in the GF lobby. You could buy small ones for around $40.

Our favorites are the GF, Y&BC, and Boardwalk.

We went to alot of them this past Christmas...our faves were BC and GF but they were all pretty!
