Alright, here we go. We are planning a trip for Oct under the Armed Forces Salute program. We have had 3 previous trips to WDW, with 2 stays at SOG and 1 at ASSp. We have been quoted 6 nights at All-Stars at $399 or $576 at a moderate. While we enjoyed the ASSp, we are looking for something a little nicer and a little quieter. The decision has been narrowed down to the Carribbean Beach or Coronado Springs. It will be a group of 89-adults and 2 kids, ages 6 and 8 months. Any input anyone has on either resort would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe I misread this, but are you really going with 89 adults? I'm sorry if I misread it, I might be a little punchy from teaching all day.

I'm pretty sure that was a typo and they meant 8-9 adults.

We stayed at CBR one night of a 7 night vacation and switched resorts because we hated it so much. We found it dirty and in ill repair. I know they've remodeled it since, but I have no desire to stay there again.

On the other hand, the more I see of Coronado Springs, the more I like it. I tried to get a room next month, but I waited too long and it was booked for when I wanted it.

Here are my pictures from Coronado Springs. There are links at the top of the page that will show you around the resort.

Sorry for the typo, I didn't even notice it...but yes it is supposed to be 8-9 adults.

I've always wanted to stay at the CS, it's so pretty, especially at night. It also has a really great pool area as well. After exploring it our last trip we put it on our resort to do wish list.

Sorry for the typo

It's okay! I just wanted to make sure I was reading the post right. Cause if you were going with 89 people, I don't even want to imagine all the planning that would take. Plus, you'd have an uneven amount, so someone would have ended up riding alone on the 2 person rides. Hehe. Anyways, my family has stayed at both, my father alone at CS and my whole family at CBR. The CBR was our choice for our upcoming but with the fairy tale we were able to upgrade to AKL. I know that whatever choice you make can't be wrong, cause you'll be at WDW.

Just a suggestion. If you book through SOG, if they have rooms available, they will place you in the CR Garden Wing at the same rate as SOG. I think that's a STEAL for CR. We booked through them for the 2nd week in September and had no problem getting rooms.
