We are a party of 4 adults and currently have a Deluxe Studio ‑ Standard View room with the BB offer booked at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. We are not DVC members and I'm not sure we are going to keep the room. We are considering an Outer Building Garden View Room at GF for few dollars less. The 4 of us have stayed at the GF in the past and found the Outer Building Garden View Room a good fit for us. DW and I sleep in one queen sized bed. Our youngest daughter sleeps in the other queen sized bed and my oldest daughter sleeps on the pull out day bed. The layout of the Deluxe Studio ‑ Standard View at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows only has one queen sized bed. The pull out day bed and the pull down single under the TV look like they would take up a lot of room when setup. We are also wondering if because it is a DVC room, do they only clean the room once? Given our situation, which room would be a better fit?

We would go with the regular resort room at GF because of the bed situation with 4 adults. If you do go with the Deluxe Studio at Poly, because you booked through Disney, you would get daily housekeeping.

Thanks Dansdad! We know what we are getting with the GF room but the Poly is our favorite resort. Just couldn't get a standard room at the Poly in my budget with the BB offer. The DVC room was actually a few hundred cheaper but my gut is telling me it's not going to work for us. My only concern with switching is the last time we stayed at the GF in August, the resort was overrun with a convention of Price Waterhouse interns. Apparently, they do this every August which is when we are going. Many of them were loud, drunk and their sheer numbers took over all the lobby areas and Gasparilla Island Grill. Does GF still host large conventions in August?

I would say if bedding being comfortable is important to you that you should stay at GF. We are a family of 5 and won’t stay in the DVC rooms because I know we won’t be comfortable with the bedding. After a long day in the parks getting a good nights sleep keeps everyone happy
