I have always arrived early in the am at Walt Disney World , checked in and gone off for the day, returned to actually get in my room later in the afternoon. I have an opportunity to arrive a day earlier on my trip in April but it would be late in the afternoon...around 6 or 7pm. What is everyone's experiences on arriving later in the day? Will I still have a good chance for a great room or do you think that the early bird gets the worm in this case? Should I leave things alone or get to WDW a day before? How has this worked for all of you Dis pros??

By that time of night you won't have much choice on rooms - but you could always ask.

I'd take the extra time in WDW - but that's just me. I don't mind so much where my room is.

We always check-in early. If we have a late flight we usually stay off site the first night so we can check-in early the next morning. ;)
