Hi
I have a question I hope you can help me with
We are traveling with my sister and brother and law in 3 weeks
What I'd like to know is
at check inn
will we be able to put a CC for our purchase
and one for them even if we are travelling and living in the same studio ???
will that be a problem ...I seem to recall that ( 2 separate CC per room ) being a problem at all star resorts 2 years ago ????

You can only put one CC on file for room charges.

Although at check-in, only one CC will be taken, each party's purchases will be registered with their room key #. If you go to the front desk the evening before check-out, you can ask for a printout showing the individual purchases made by each. Your guests can then pay their portion of the final bill.

Yes, in effect, the charge card on file wil be replaced with their charge card, and a payment will be taken for their amount. Be sure, after that transaction, that you then have the front desk put your credit card back on file so the final remaining balance will charge out to you the next morning.

As a safety measure, you may want to do this mid week. If the charges get over a certain dollar amount, they will push the charges to the credit card company.

That is true, the charges automatically bill out if the room charge total hits $1500 at a DVC or deluxe resort, $1000 at a moderate and $500 at a value resort.
