:earsgirl: I'm wondering if you can help me with this. I will be visiting Pop Century in September and I wondered if it is "allowed" to visit other resorts and use their ammenities (i.e. pool, beaches, etc). When I had visited All Star Sports in 96' my friend and I went the the Beach Club resort and swam all day in their pool. Nobody said anything to us, but i hear now that it is frowned upon to do such things. Is that true?

No pool hopping is allowed. They even give wrist bands out at SAB at BC so they know who's supposed to be there. A DISboarder just posted from DW a few days ago that at the 2 resorts she stayed at (BC and POLY) people who weren't guests of those resorts were being asked to leave. The only case that hopping is allowed is at POR and POFQ since these are sister resorts.....

Feel free to visit the resorts and enjoy their shops and restaurants. Use of the pools is restricted to guests actually staying at the resort.

FWIW, so many people "pool-hopped" to SAB (feature pool at the BC/YC & BCV), that Disney fenced it off and gives out wristbands to registered guests. SAB was becoming so crowded that registered guests were complaining and Disney had to do something.

While not all the other resort pools are fenced or policed quite as consistently as SAB, you may be asked to leave if you are not a registered guest of the resort.

Best wishes -
