Resort Airline Check-in for SWA expanding to DVC/other resorts

Thought DVCers who never venture to the Transportation Board would be interested in this thread:

The short of it is that Southwest appears to be expanding their participation in RAC beyond the pilot at the value resorts. It has apparently gone live today at YC/BC/BCV. The schedule posted in the thread isn't accurate as no reports from the first few resorts where the date has already passed, but confirmation from BC that their service includes SWA as of today, not 3/16 as listed. So it's anyone's guess as to what happens next...

I asked the folks manning the RAC desk at Kidani Village, and while they knew it was being rolled out, they couldn't say when it would be available at Kidani Village.

I'm waiting not-so-patiently until March 23, so I can book my SW flight for October.
I hope they're doing OKW by the end of April.

I work for SW, but at LAX. A very good friend of mine is a Customer Service supervisor at MCO and this is what was relayed to me. Apperntly their is some cost that Disney want us to cover (Not sure what it is). We told them no, DME is your deal. Apperntly WDW had a lot od complaints about us not doing the RAC. So Disney caved. From what we know, it should be resort wide sometime next month.
