Aloha!

My DH and I were trying to decide between Marriott GV and Residence Inn. He thought we should stay at Residence Inn so...now I have some ??

1) does anyone have any photos of the room at RI LBV? I've been trying to find some on the web to no avail. Only pics are of pool, building, lobby etc.

2) any personal reviews of RI LBV? I see a lot for RI near SW. RI LBV was ranked pretty high on tripadvisor.com

3) price...anyone have any great discount codes for Oct/Nov? I have a price of $129 for a 2 BDR. Is that good? Not sure...

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!

I've been to the RI LBV. The rooms are virtually identical to every other RI I've been to in other states. Modern, clean, somewhat on the small side but nicely equipped.

Thank you for your post. I found some pics on the web and they look okay...kinda small like you said.

Now I'm debating between Residence Inn LBV and Staybridge Suites near Sea World. I was able to get a rate of $99.50 for a 2BD using the entertainment card. Same kind of amenities...brkfst, mgr reception etc. RI got better ratings on tripadvisor.com than Staybridge though.

What to do...what to do...can anybody give some opinions?

I've stayed at a Staybridge (in SF) and loved it but it was probably newer than the properties in orlando.

Thanks for any input whatsoever!

Have you considered renting a condo or villa? You can get a nice 2-bedroom condo at Windsor Palms (or several other places) for less than the suite hotel prices and you'll have a whole lot more space. You won't get a free breakfast but the price and space more than makes up for that.

Check out http://www.closesttodisney.com and http://www.windsor-palms-resort.com/ for some ideas of what's available.

We rented a 3-bedroom condo last year for $90/nite. The 2-bedrooms are cheaper than that. They start around $55/nite depending on season.

Steve-

Thank you and yes... I have considered renting a condo but DH wants to stay at a hotel that has daily housekeeping, free breakfast, etc...amenities of a hotel.

so now its down to RI LBV or Staybridge SW.

Thanks for the input!

You can't go wrong with either place.

That is an excellent rate for the RI. Where did you get it?

The RI is a little newer than the other hotel and I can attest to the fact they have very comfortable beds at the Marriott.

herc.

Hercamore-

I got that rate from their website...I think its because I'll be there for 2 weeks (extended stay rate). Thank you for your input!
