reserving park days

Anyone else wondering if it will only be open 1 day at a time and then how that will work if you bought your ticket and then can't get in? This is the reason I didn't buy a flex pass because we live in Northern CA and so when we come it is usually for 3 to 5 days at a time and I didn't want to risk not getting a day. ESP since once you use your ticket it expires. We want to go in Sept and I am worried that when the dates open and I buy our 4 day tickets that it will only open 1 day at a time and then if one or more of the days gets full we won't be able to go. Anyone else? I know in the past with the flex or even at DW it had more than just 1 day at a time open but I am stressing wondering how this is going to work. We are dealing with expiring airfare as well and are in a pickle becuase we can't go BEFORE that weekend and only have literally that one weekend before the airfare expires. UGH

Im sure they will open chunks of days at a time and that you can book numerous days at a time. But that just speaks from common sense so hopefully that is how it is done lol

I'm wondering about this too. If you bought multi-day tickets, what happens if you can't get reservations on subsequent days? This could really mess with travel plans!

I wouldn't necessarily stress too much about it right now.

If it's like the WDW system, the calendar should give you a pretty good idea what days and parks are available before buying a multi-day pass, which would make it a lot less likely that you'll buy tickets and get shut out for those days.

I think it'll be more clear after this week's ticket sales are done, and as we get a few weeks into the process.

Good point. I tend to stress about everything! I already have multi-day passes from March 2020, and I'm hoping for Thanksgiving of this year. It'd be rough if I couldn't use the tickets we already have, but hopefully things will be ironed out by then.

I'm hoping. I bit the bullet and reserved a hotel and booked airfare since we want to go Labor Day weekend. I just hope that when the window opens up for that time frame we don't have any issues. I was thinking they would open a new day each day. So like yesterday it was open through June 28th so then today would be June 29th. If they keep doing it that day it seems like if I bought my 4 day ticket on the first available day then I could only make a reservation for the FIRST day. I could in theory wait till the end of the those days to buy my ticket but then I risk those days being sold out. It's a real concern.

You check what's available here: https://disneyland.disney.go.com/availability-calendar/?segments=ticket,ph&defaultSegment=ticket
Looks like they are still only showing through 6/28

I was told in a different thread (and it makes sense), that they're not going to open up any new dates until May 1, at which time they'll start rolling 60 days out. Right now, the open dates are all within the 60 days of the parks' opening date.
