I am staying at POFQ next Wed., praying for good weather. My DS will be 1 one the first, anyways, I reserved a crib, how much bedding do I need? Bumper pads, sheets blankets? I usually travel with a pack in play but refuse to fly with it. Thanks for any info you can you give.

Their standard cribs have bumpers and sheets, and we were given 2 baby blankets, one cotton, slightly larger than a receiving blanket; the other a cotton knit blanket.

Many people like to bring their own crib sheets to be sure theyre as clean as possible.

Hi, we stayed at POR last April and just recieved a pack n play as the crib. I brought sheets for either a pnp or standard crib just in case. My son's skin is easily irritated by harsh soaps. HTH:D

Hi

Don't have an answer to your question but we will be at POFQ on Wed. too. My dd is 20 months. We are getting bed rails b/c our little gymnast figured out how to climb out of the crib and pack n play about 3 months ago.
How long are you staying? our dates are 9/29-10/4.

See you there

With exception of maybe the GF all the cribs are PnP. They have always been very clean and most times almost brand new. I always brought some PnP sheets from home for a familiar feel and smell as well as a blanket and a blanket sleeper in case the AC got cold.

If you need a full size crib my sil used a company called abbf it think its www.abbf.com. They will deliver and pick up but recently have stopped assembling the cribs for you -

Thanks for all the info. re: crib and all the things I don't have to bring. We will be arriving Wed. noon and leaving the following Wed. the 6th at 4pm. Praying for Jeanne to be gentel, guess we will know more this afternoon!!

Hi! This is my first post, not only on this board, but on ANY board or ANY forum anywhere, so sorry if I mess this up!:confused3

I just had to post that we also will be at POFQ on Wed. 29 and staying until 10/9, and we are SOO excited! We also have a baby tarveling with us-18 months as well as a 4 yr old. I read somewhere that if you request it they can get you a larger crib from the warehouse instead of a PNP. Anyone know if this is true?

I have heard that it is occassionally possible to get a crib rather than a pnp, but not to count on it as it is pretty rare. If having a standard crib is a big deal, then I would rent one privately (www.abbf.com gets recomended on here a lot)

we are just going to use the PNP as dd has slept fine in one in the past.

PS -congratulations on your first post - here's to many more!

During our last stay at POFQ my youngest DS was 18 months old and we requested a crib. The resort provided a Graco Pack 'n Play, in excellent condition. A sheet was included, but we brought DS's sheet from his crib at home, as well as his "blankie" and a small pillow, so that he'd feel comfortable in a strange setting. He was so exhausted from the long days at the park, he didn't have any trouble sleeping during our entire vacation.

No fee for a PnP - at the WDW Resorts. Just ask at checkin or call housekeeping when you get the room and the will bring one.

Or, if you reserve the crib in advance, it might be in your room when you arrive. We were told to just mention at check-in that we needed a crib, and one would be delivered to our room. We were arriving at POFQ in the late evening with a very tired 3 yr old and 18 mo. old. The CM I spoke to when I called to reserve the crib made a notation on our reservation that we were arriving late (10:30 pm). When we arrived at the resort, and inquired about the crib, we were told that it was already taken care of -- the Pack 'n Play was already in the room waiting for us. We were VERY appreciative.::MickeyMo :D

I've never had a problem calling when my DD was having a hard time sleeping in the pack n play and getting a standard wheeled crib. Didn't have to with our 2nd DD, but the 1st one just couldn't sleep well there. We've gotten regular cribs at Beach Club, Swan and OKW... Our friends got one at PO-R.

:) That's good to know in case our son can't sleep in one. I've never tried to get him to , so I don't know. He really loves his crib though.
