My husband and I are going on our first disney cruise along and am sooo excited..we have family in central fl and they will be dropping us off. What time should they drop us off? once we get in line, whats the first thing we should get in line for together? i dont want to get lost? Should we just go ahead and get in line for Palos? anything else?
thanks

We like to Arrive at the port at about 10 ish ,
And maybe u should get in line for Palo...res..

Hello Amy--

Travis and I usually attempt to arrive at the port by 11:30. This allows us plenty of time to check in and then get a pretty good spot near the front of the line for boarding.

Once onboard you'll have several options. Reservations will be taken for Palo dinner, Champagne Brunch, and High Tea and also for the Vista Spa and Salon. Palo reservations are taken at Beat Street, usually in Rockin' Bar D. The spa reservations are done right at the spa.

Many people will split up their groups during the reservation process and this can be very beneficial, especially if you want very specific reservations. For instance, you could make the Palo reservations while Michael makes the spa reservations.

Hope this helps a little!

It does help a lot. thanks so much! I just dont want to lose him because i know thats what would happen...Looking forward to meeting you 2!

The port opens at 10, the counters open for check in at 10:30. I usually try to arrive at the port about 10:30-10:45. That puts us near the front of the boarding line.

First of all, you don't need to do ressies together. One can be in one line while the other is in a different line. On our 2/7/04 cruise, there were NO lines--we walked right up to what we wanted. However, our usual order is one to dining changes (if needed), one to Palo. After that, Tea with Wendy tickets from Guest Services, Spa ressies, register kiddos. We usually go to lunch before kiddo registration.

Remember that the DCL busses from WDW don't even leave the parks till after noon, so if you are at the port by noon, you are usually in plenty of time.
