needs some advice....for the past month and a half I've been trying to make breakfast reservations for CM for our stay in late August at the CR....everything sold out...

last night one of the board members was nice enough to coordinate her cancellation with me in an attempt to help me get a reservation at CM- i tried for 45 minutes and even this morning- nada...

but- they do have reservations available for 4 people at different times- so what to do??? do i grab a reservation for 4 people then show up with three on the morning of the rev and say the fourth got sick?? do i grab a reservation for 4 people then try and change it to three a week/month later???

TIA....

I would grab table for 4. They usually seat 3 people on table for 4 anyways. That's the mystery of Disney adr. There's availability for 4 but not 3. They won't mind missing person. :goodvibes

that's what i'm thinking...i don't want to be devious but there seems to be no other way.....

now the question is- do i make the reservation for 4 then change it to three? show up with three and say someone was sick??? show up with three play dumb (comes naturally for me )?

my seventeen years of Catholic schooling is giving me a guilt complex....

Yep book for 4 and either call to cancel one seat or show up and say you will only be 3 today. Previously I had reservations for 5 and dh couldn't go on the trip after all but I went ahead with the plans and took my DDs. I called Disney to cancel a seat on all reservations and I was told by the phone CM to simply show up at our meal time and say that we will be 1 person short. No one blinked an eye at it when I mentionned it at the podium. The only reservation that is worth changing is the ones that you have to prepay or have a CC guarantee

thanks....that's be the plan then....

Hate to say it, but don't call to adjust. Just show up minus the 4th. Sadly, I lost out on an Ohana bfast our 1st trip [when I was young and not so savy]. I called to let them know we would be missing people [and attempted to let a larger party have the bigger table] I was informed that we would not be seated at all if the full party wasn't there! I can get that they may not have had a smaller table available for the now-smaller group, but to say that we couldn't have the table we reserved unless we filled it still blows me away! Now I know better..just show up and go with it. :rolleyes1
