Reservations for birthday

We have decided to make ressies for my DD birthday (8) at Rainforest Cafe. Does anyone know if they will do anytthing special if I request - maybe sing happy bday or something? I think I will buy a cake and would like to arrange for them to bring it out after dinner - will they do that? Is the Rainforest a fun place for kids that age - the kids will range in age from 4 - 11. Also, can I make a res. right now for Dec. 3rd? If anyone knows if there is a toll free number where I can call I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

It will be a fun place. I haven't been to this particular RF, but I assume they are all the same. Just make her aware of the "storms" that come. It thunders and lightning strikes. At her age she probable won't care, but some children are afraid of this type thing.

I'm actually thinking of doing something there for my DD's birthday also. Her birthday is Dec. 4, but we're planning on Dec 2. They're opening a Build a Bear in DD in a couple of weeks and they do birthday parties. They're free, but you have to leave a deposit, and I'm not sure if you have to make a certain amount of purchase. I've really got to get going on this.

Anyway, I went to rainforest last week to ask questions about the birthday. A guy gave me a brochure and a card and told me to ask for the sales department. I wanted to know the price of a birthday, but also if I could just make a reservation, and do it that way. I haven't called yet (I went during lunch, and didn't have time to call when I got back to work). If you find out any information let me know.
