So I made reservations for Sept 27th for 12:20 pm at the akershus. Originally our party was going to be 7 and then I was informed that our party would not all be able to sit together.

so we cut it down to 5 and the boys are going to head out to the ESPN zone for a bit.

I've never been to tha Akershus before... so do you think with it only being a party of 5 now that we will get to sit together? This is for my DD's birthday so I would be really disappointed if they split us up.

what is the likely hood that we could all sit together?

When we were there last year they had all different sized tables so I can't see 5 people sitting together at one table being a problem

we just went last Thursday with a party of 9 and we all sat together just fine! :)

Oh ok Thanks :)

Yeah cause the first time when it was 7 people the lady said they might not have a table big enough for 7 so I was a bit worried about even just the 5 instead lol

It has apparently become somewhat standard for parties to be warned when making ADRs that they may be split up. In reality, it's a relatively rare occurrence for parties to actually be split. I'd say your chances of being split up are very slim.

I've seen posts here from people who have gotten messages when making online ADRs that their party of 3 would be split up. Honestly, a party of 3 will not be split up. It's ridiculous that the ADR system is putting these warnings on some of these ADRs.

OH PHEW. Glad to hear that lol now I think I can rest a little easier haha

With online reservations, parties of one have gotten the notification that the party might be seated at different tables. When they explain how they plan to split a party of one, then I will worry about it. I believe only large parties need to worry about it much. Not so sure about 7 - it's likely they could handle 7 at Akershus - but with 5 there is probably no need to worry at all.
