Can anyone tell me if this is normal or if you've done it. I'm a bit worried. We have reservations on Sept. 25th for our group at Epcot. Most of the group has 8pm ressies at Coral Reef and DH & I have ressies at LeCellier at 8:15. I didn't even notice until after I made them that the park closes at 8p. I guess I'm worried about the service/quality of food if it is at park closing. Are they in a hurry to get everyone out of there?

Also, Illuminations starts at 8pm so I'm wondering if anyone knows if we will be able to see it while we wait from Coral Reef and Le Cellier. I've only been to Epcot once years ago so I have no idea! I am hoping we can check in for dinner and stand around and see them while waiting for our table.

Thanks!!

I'd kind of like to know too. I have some right before closing reservations too. I wouldn't want to be rushed out

I was surprised to see on your post that Epcot closes at 8pm, so I took a look. I have never seen it close any earlier that 9pm and I have gone during low season. So when I checked, it says that on Sept 25th, the park closes at 9pm. So I think you'll be fine.:)

However, in terms of Illuminations, I assume that it will be at 9pm as all our past vacations have been. But, I have heard some rumours about Disney not having it everyday, hopefully that's just rumours. However, when I checked for your date, there were no time shown for illuminations.:confused3 I hope this will be corrected soon. I am still upset about the fact that Fantasmic is no longer offered every night.

oh I must have made a mistake on my spreadsheet then! I need to go back over all the hours to make sure I didn't miss anything else! Thanks so much!

we just had reservation at LeCellier in June for 8:25 and the park closed at 9 that evening one rushed us while dining and we had transportation when we left -- we were about the only left in the park -- our bus stopped at two resorts to help get the others that were there in park back to their resorts.
