Reservations at AK

Can I make a dinner reservation for 5:00 or later at one of the restaurants at AK if the park is closing at 5:00? We were interested in Rain Forest Cafe.

I am not sure as I have never tried this myself but I would think that you could. RFC is outside the park so they probably stay open later. The problem you may have is if you are counting on Disney transportation. The busses will run for about an hour after the park closes so if you will be later than that you will want to have your own car or call a cab.

Thank you so much RMAMom for letting me know about the bus transportaion. We will not have our own car, so we will definately have to take that into consideration.

Since RFK is on the outside of AK it does stay open later, although I'm not sure exactly how long. This is exactly why we book ADR's for AK outside the park (like at AKL or something so we can go eat after park closing).

There is a Rainforest Cafe at DTD too. That may be an option for an evening meal.

From what I understand (from other posts, etc..), Rainforest Cafe at AK has a separate entrance so you can enter it without entering AK (thus a later reservation shouldn't be a problem). I also ready somewhere that Disney buses will run until all of AK and RFC is empty.
