Reservation time suggestions w/travel issues

We will be arriving at the airport at 4:27 on Saturday, October 9th. Although I know it will take longer, we plan on taking ME to AKL to check in. My dad just will not pay for different transportation when we get it for "free." I'm trying to figure out the time I would need to make reservations to eat at Homecomin'. I was thinking 7:30 but my parents hate to eat late. But that's what happens when you don't spring for a cab.

I can't imagine being able to get to Disney Springs much earlier than 730, especially if using 100% disney transportation. If you could do Sanaa at the AKL kidani building, you could probably get there by 630 If you rushed right there once you got to your room or 7 if you took a little time.

Of course, this is all determined on flights not having an issue.

We don't book a meal on arrival day because you never know what could keep you from arriving on time. I'd wait until you are on ME and then book something. You'll have a better idea of timing then.

ME is still available for 2021.

OP, I think 730 will be pushing it. Arrival night ADRs are always risky because so many things can cause delays. If you really want to eat in DS, I would suggest making a reservation via open table since they don’t charge you if you don’t make it.

Thanks for the suggestion! I might give that a try. And if we don't get there in time, I guess we can just do CS somewhere. Having them eat at 7:30 is a really a push even on vacation for my parents. I just wish I could get them to agree to not take ME.

Homecomin isn’t available through Open Table right now. I don’t think it has ever been. Some non-Disney restaurants at Disney Springs are though
