Someone knows if a 16 year old can have a room at his to Pop Century without an adult in the room. His age will be verified at check-in?

I always stay off site. His height is more than 6 feet.

Thank so much!

Nope. You have to be at least 18 years old. And you will have to show photo ID regardless of how old you look.

I tried to book connecting rooms with myself and my younger child in one room, and my teen and a friend in the next. I thought it would be fine since cruise ships allow that, but Disney wouldn't do it. We lucked out and got a free upgrade to a 1br at OKW, but otherwise, all of us in a value room would have been tight!

If anything the kicker for a teen staying in a room is a credit card issue.

How many over 18 are in your party? I would just book rooms in the adult names and who cares who is in which room?

There are 2 adults in our party but I want to reserve 3 rooms.

Then if I understand, Disney does not allow to me to book 2 rooms in my name?

If I bought an annual pass is what I could reserve 3 bedrooms in my name and put my teenager in a room?

The credit card is a very good idea but if asked his passport.

It's really complicated book several rooms at Disney. Michael Jackson must not have the problem of reserving a full floor.

Disney gave me the answer.

You can book a room for a teenager 14-17 year old with parental consent. With a legal document it would be possible to go alone with children under 14 year old.

Incredible!

I would call four more times and ask the same question/s.

List each response.

Go with the one that appears most often.

Renting a hotel room is a contract between the owner (Disney) and the renter (us).

A person under the age of 18 cannot legally enter into a contract.

I'm not saying you WON'T be able to do this - but be prepared.

I would think there would be a big difference in just a teenager traveling alone, and what the OP is talking about - a teenager traveling with family, but sleeping in their own room. If a teenager has their own room, but is traveling with family, the adults in the party will still be responsible for the actions (good and bad) of the teenager. I definitely wouldn't expect Disney to allow a teenager to travel alone, whether they bring a "permission slip" or not.

I know people who were able to rent 2 rooms on 1 reservation. These are families of 5+ staying at a Value Resort. I think if you have a family of 2 adults and 5+ children they will let you put the 2 rooms on 1 reservation. I know people who have done this. So, if they let you do that, perhaps they will let you put 2 rooms on 1 reservation consisting of 1 Adult and 1 Child. I would call Disney and see if you can do that. Just my 2 cents.
