Reservation for 8, but only 4 show up

i have a few PPO reservations for 8 to include my family and a friend's family. I'm nervous they may bail on one or two. Is there a penalty if some of the party doesn't show, or are you only penalized if no one shows?

If you know the day or even the night before I would call and change the amount. But we have gone to ADRs with 2 people not coming and we never got charged.

No penalty. AFAIK only one needs to show up. Not great form to reserve for people who don't come, but it won't be a problem if plans change for a few people in the party. We had that happen several times due to nap schedule issues with our 6mo.

1) For a normal TS meal, there is no $10 per person penalty if the total party does not show.
2) For any pre-paid meal (eg. HDDR, CRT, Luau) you lose the entre cost of the meal for the no-shows, unless cancelled on-time.
