Reservation being "Held" Says CM

Hi All,

I called yesterday at the 7 month window to change a ressie and was so thrilled to find that the resort had availibility. The CM cancelled my ressie, put me on hold for about 5 minutes and said that due to the system upgrades they are having difficulty with reservations. She assured me that my new ressie was being held and would post later in the day. Well......my old ressie was cancelled and the new one is not showing on DVC.com.

Obviously I will call first thing tomorrow morning but is this a common occurance?:goodvibes

Happened to me in October. It took over two weeks for the new room to show up correctly.

I can tell you it was the most frantic two weeks of my life!!! I had a SV 1 bedroom at BLT and wanted to change to a 2 bedroom SV. They had only 1 left for all but one of my nights. I didn't want to chance it so we tried to book the 2 bedroom LV and would just wait list. She couldn't get it to work and said it should be set by the middle of the week.

Well, it wasn't and I was nervous because I told them I wanted to get on the wait list as soon as possible. By 10 days in (and my 1 bedroom now showing cancelled), I called and luckly, they had a 2 bedroom SV that was lock off and put it on hold for me.

It took almost another 4 to 5 days to get it all correct. Each time I called to check, they assured me it was on hold and not to worry. It did show up and all is well. They said that some member accounts, with the systems upgrade, just had trouble and they were working on the fixes.

I am sure things are fine and I hope things show up quickly for you!!
