Reseeding and Fertilizering

Should there be a certain amount of time between reseeding a lawn and fertilizering? Thanks.

You should post this in the Flower and Garden section.

I believe it depends on the fertilizer. On a weed and feed type fertilizer, you cannot reseed within 30 or 60 days of application (I think, but that is off of the top of my head).

Are you reseeding the whole lawn or patches? If it's just a normal fertilizer, you should be fine applying them both at the same time. Check the directions of the fertilizer, it should say.

When did you reseed? A starter fertilizer is good to put down when you reseed.
