Rescheduled trip due to hurricane--luggage tags question

I was originally supposed to check in to CBR tomorrow. Unfortunately, yesterday everyone in my group decided to postpone our trip. I pushed mine back a week, but ended up switching to POFQ in the process.

I am now supposed to arrive 9/8, one week later. I completely forgot to ask while I was on the phone with Magical Express last night, but can I still use my luggage tags since they say CBR?
 
Same situation for me.... when I rebooked Magical Express I read that if my new luggage tags don't arrive before the trip and my plane lands after 10am I must get my bags from bag claim. If I don't get my new tags but my plane lands before 10 I can go the the Magical Express desk and they will get my bags.... someone can correct me if I'm wrong. Hope that helps. We are probably going to get stuck grabbing our bags. On the bright side at least we were able to reschedule!

Yep, you're wrong. It's 10 PM.
If I don't get my new tags but my plane lands before 10 I can go the the Magical Express desk and they will get my bags.

I would not use luggage tags coded for the wrong resort. Just as this other poster was advised, bring your claim check(s) to the DME counter. The CMs know what to do.
 

Food for thought:

If you take the incorrect yellow luggage tags and draw one line through any incorrect or outdated printed words and write in the correct information then the bags will be pulled behind the carousel and immediately taken to the Magical Express processing area. Each time they are scanned there is a chance the bags will get individualized treatment for redirection to your current resort. At worst they will go to the original resort but once there the handwriting on the tags should get the bags redirected to your current resort. (Not sure whether there is an official rule against this in which case you should not do it.)

Do not mark through the bar codes on the yellow tags.

If you do not use the yellow tags and instead bring your airline claim checks to the Magical Express welcoming area CM then there will be a period of time that the bags go 'round and 'round the carousel.

Today we adjusted our arriving day by one day. The cast member said that our new luggage tags probably would not arrive in time, so she said to draw one line through our date and write in our new date. Seems kind of sketch to me, but we are going to do it. :confused3
 
You don't even level the Disney luggage tags, just present your baggage claim checks when you check in at the DME desk. They will go and pull you luggage and see that it get's to where you are registered. The coulorful tags make it a little easier to find bages bit standard luggage tags are all that are needed.

Once you get to the DME desk just give them your airline luggage tags and they will go and pull your bags. We have done it a couple of times when flights change or we did not receive the custom tags in time for our trip.

The key is not to have the wrong resort name on the tags if you changed resorts!
