We are looking into buying a small DVC resale contract since we will only go every 2-3 years, but want to make sure we are getting the most bang for our $$...What does a stripped vs loaded contracts, is that in terms of the seller used all that years points? Do some contracts come with some perks that others don't have? If we stay or buy into BCV we can use the pool right??? Some contracts don't have that taken away do they?

Thanks so much.

Ok I'm not an expert but since I just signed my contract last week I just did all the same research you are doing now. And I don't plan on going every year either so I think we are in similar situations.

A stripped contract is where the seller has already used most of the available points. So they don't have anything banked from the previous year and they may have used all the currents years points too. Plus I guess they could have borrowed and already used the next years.

A loaded contract means all of the points are still there and they have probably banked the previous years as well. Hope that helps! :goodvibes

The only time you can use Stormalong Bay is when you are staying at YC/BC/BCV, regardless of your home resort.
