No because points can’t be transferred more than once, regardless of UY or status.

So, if you transfer 2025 UY points into someone’s 2025 UY, those points are now transferred points.

They can be banked or borrowed in their new membership, but they can’t move again to a third membership.

So, there are really two restrictions. One in our out per UY for transfers and transferred points can only move memberships once.

I saw that they cannot be returned to the original person that transferred them but I did not see anywhere that they could not be transferred to a third member. I wonder if I missed it somewhere

The reason is that you don’t own transferred points…they are simply in a temporary contract in your account for you to use.

The transfer rules apply to the points in contracts in which you are an owner.

Yeah… a lot of owners don’t really understand it but you’d think the brokers would be more careful

Glad to hear you bought where your heart is at. You can run numbers all day long but if you don’t like the resort, then there’s absolutely no value in the contract.

Interesting… new one to me that some points can’t be transferred. Could it be that maybe they are already transferred from another membership (although why anyone would do that before selling I don’t know).

Look forward to seeing the details and how much of a bargain you got… knowing you it will be like $50 pp.

Going to post over in the ROFR later. I got 150pts for $101.33 per point, Dec UY which is what I really wanted to combine with my CCV at 7 months when needed. Weird number because I offered a flat amount.

Im very close to my 7 month booking date for my February trip where I need a 2 bedroom. Sadly the new Boardwalk contract wont get me any home booking priority for this trip (the every other year trip I bought the contract for)

This may be hard to believe but I am short on points so I have use my VDH for my February trip, VDH is my non restricted points so I was like if I have to use those I should stay at a restricted resort, RIV. Oh my goodness!! BWV is 263 points Boardwalk view, RIV is 371 points preferred view. Resort view its 227 vs 298.

I still have my moments of I cant believe Im buying a 2042 resort (something I said I would never do). This brings me back and reminds me that the point savings in 2042 resort is significant. CCV point charts are pretty amazing too.

I could probably do RIV for studios or maybe a 1 bed. Still much more than BW but wouldn’t eat all my direct points. The resort view vs preferred at RIV is a large difference in points so I can see how owning there would be beneficial if you want to stay there.

Are you trying for to help me cross the finish line on more direct RIV points? . I’m checking in tomorrow after my 4 nights at AKL. One things that is so nice about RIV is that many think resort view is better for the fireworks - that said, my stay tomorrow is preferred view. Excited to check in tomorrow!

haha have a great time! If the fireworks are good in resort view that is a huge plus in my book!

My CCV is a resale. I decided to keep it after staying there this past May. I am in ROFR for Boardwalk. This was the best advice since it's the choice I made.
