This community is like "The Last of Us". We're all infected, and our sole desire is to spread it to others. There’s some dangerous FOMO and endorphins running rampant around these DVC threads today…we’re thinking of doing a late July trip, probably staying at RIV…and we have an Aug UY…Last time we purchased, we were literally on the Skyliner back in December and we doubled our initial PIT purchase…me+good vibes and fomo= questionable decisions. This board doesn’t help. Gonna have to avoid it here come July![]()
Doo it!!!We should start a whats your claim to fame contract thread![]()

Well now I need to try the Kona Coffee Press Pot.DW and I were just talking about an upcoming split stay. She gets Riviera coffee shop that she loves. I get PVB for the Kona coffee press pot.
We’re also at the furthest point of the year from dues increases and payments. The cure is too far out of sight, out of mindThis community is like "The Last of Us". We're all infected, and our sole desire is to spread it to others.
Help me understand the following:Well now I need to try the Kona Coffee Press Pot.
Ah, I meant to say one and a half lolI think it's actually more than a can of Coke![]()
I've been looking at this too and I think its because the per point discount from 100 to 150 is only $3 and the AP/D23 is static at $1500 so whether you buy 100 or 5000 points its always going to be only $1500 (which is a larger percentage off a 100pt contract vs a 150pt contract). It's too bad that discount doesn't scale up.Help me understand the following:
100 points after all incentives: $21,100
150 points after all incentives: $31,950
The 150 is actually more expensive per point than the 100. I know I could do MB on 150 points, but that isn't really a discount but rather selling your points back to Disney.
This has me leaning towards 100 points.I've been looking at this too and I think its because the per point discount from 100 to 150 is only $3 and the AP/D23 is static at $1500 so whether you buy 100 or 5000 points its always going to be only $1500 (which is a larger percentage off a 100pt contract vs a 150pt contract). Yep that’s one of the reasons I started looking at poly again before we went. It’s rare to see better deals on 100. It’s because of the 1000 and 500 are the same amount on 100 and 150.Help me understand the following:
100 points after all incentives: $21,100
150 points after all incentives: $31,950

I am so happy to have been such a good bad influence! Toast one to me when you are in the cabin living it up!Couldn't not join in the fun after all that WL-love discussion. Adding on again to our CCV stash and now will have enough for Cabin stays on our shorter visits.
Well this turned into an expensive thread to follow along! I gladly blame @VGCgroupie!![]()
MB = Magical Beginnings. If you buy 150+ direct points at an Active resort you can sell back your first year's points for $20/pt and get a check from Mickey a few weeks after closing. Doesn't apply to "sold out" resorts even if they're still selling and doesn't work on resale, of course.Am I the only one that is wondering what "MB" stands for?
My head first went to Magic Band, then I realized this I say purchasing thread so yep whats posted above. Magical Beginnings. There are loads of acronyms.Am I the only one that is wondering what "MB" stands for?
