Resale shopping again.. my heart wants one thing but my head says another. Give your opinions.

Isnt CCV the best overall value long term as far as maint dues, length of contract, etc? I def considered it as well for these reasons. I believe it was BLT and CCV but dont quote me on that
Yes length of contract (8 more years) and dues are good too, thats why I originally bought it. Then when you pair it with the low point chart makes it an incredible value, unless of course you dont like WL.

BLT point chart for resort view is pretty decent though. CCV view IMO is likely better but if someone is good with only resort view at BLT it's a great value too.

Could be VGF if you put the point chart aside lol
But yes CCV then BLT (after AULs) assuming the maintenance doesn't spike.
But but what if your group has 5+ people, or DH/DW doesn't like CCV/BLT
So, we ended up owning what we likes, or multiple home resorts 🤣

My husband was so shocked he
finish the sentence: "threw another curved ball"
because my heart still wants Boardwalk
I think going by heart is more rational than emotional.
Also, you made me want to tour CCV and BWV as I will visit WDW on a partial solo trip next month. Any suggestion on timing of the day, etc.?

BLT is the best value on the monorail. CCV is the best value for a MK resort.

I'm looking forward to seeing what point charts are like for LSL. Among MK resorts, I can't imagine they'll be CCV/BRV level; I'm thinking more like BLT but not as high as PVB or VGF. I remember liking the pre-pandemic concept art of the rooms. I hope we get some more info or art at Destination D23 in August.

I mean, this is BRV at sunrise, and some of the CCV views should be at least vaguely similar...

Nice! We have been on the first floor for both of our trips. I requested a lower floor to avoid the lack of murphy bed. If we have enough points, we might try a 2-bedroom and request a higher floor since we won't need a murphy in that case. I'd love a view like this. (Of course, I'll probably end up on the other side of the building. 🤣 )

My recent trip had me realizing we are not bus people and never will be bus people. So minimizing the need for a bus is the highest priority for us.
OMG this was too funny. Describes us....not fans of the bus transportation system and probably never will be. We own at two resorts that pretty much assure us we will be able to avoid the bus system. If we added another resort, it would have to meet this simple requirement. Access to the monorail or skylift. Thats it.

This trip taught me 100% always own where you would love to stay. I am so happy I loved CCV.
We do have 5+ people sometimes but not always so we calculated based off 1 bed stays and 2 bed stays.
I agree if possible having multiple resorts is probably key.

I think BWV really shines at night. Also around 10am it was so peaceful you feel like the have the Boardwalk to yourself.

CCV is good day or night but at night with the waterfall was light up and the crickets and trees you dont feel like you are at WDW at all. For me one of the best parts of CCV was the boat ride to MK (this is partly why BLT appealed less to me even though the walk was short) Seeing the monorail and VGF and the front of MK just felt magical.

I really really hope not as high as Poly. I also really hope Disney decides to ditch the same ole same ole they have been doing. All new rooms looking pretty much the same except changes to theming.

Yep tried buses again during this exploration trip and used them at non peak times and still loathed them just as much. The only thing they had going for them was the AC.

I must be the only person who prefers the buses over boats 🤣🤣
