Not as easy to properly pop into World Showcase if your not at BW/BC….Right now I was able to book Poly and OKW. The goal is for sure to switch OKW to BLT. Fingers crossed!

True. I plan to give all methods of transportation a run to see how much I love/hate it. I might even set a goal to visit every single resort during the dayNot as easy to properly pop into World Showcase if your not at BW/BC….
Did that in JanuaryI am committed to this craziness. Flight booked and I am headed to WDW end of May solely with the purpose of seeing which resorts I like.
Watch out I bought at BLT after staying in a refurbished room and after we ate breakfast at chef mickeys, soldRight now I was able to book Poly and OKW. The goal is for sure to switch OKW to BLT. Fingers crossed!
That’s us. Own in both areas and rent a car to use to get to most every place we would have to bus to.There is also value in holding a MK resort and a EPCOT/HS resort if you are trying to avoid ever getting on a bus.
We find that the boats are our favorite method of travel.
Never thought a split stay would work for us. We like to settle in and don’t like the thought of packing up and moving mid-vacay. But now you have me thinking…Totally fair. This is why we book an extra “overlap day” to make the pickup and move process more low key.
I just love this so much hahaha You are my spirit animalI am committed to this craziness. Flight booked and I am headed to WDW end of May solely with the purpose of seeing which resorts I like.
Cool. If you can get BCV, I'd recommend that so you can see whether you like that better than BWV. Unless you're pretty sure you wouldn't (or maybe BCV isn't in the running due to price anyway). Of course, not the same without the pool but you'd get to see the rooms and feasibility of getting to the parks. Good luck with your stalking!Right now I was able to book Poly and OKW. But you're doing it to benefit them in the long runWoke up this morning with some extreme Mom guilt of booking a trip to WDW without my kid. We will see if I can hold out past the 24 cancellation period of my flight
Yep, but I will totally be lying and saying I am just touring DVC rooms and not going to the parks. But you're doing it to benefit them in the long run![]()
We started taking just-us WDW trips before we bought D.V.C. It’s good for you and for the kid too!Woke up this morning with some extreme Mom guilt of booking a trip to WDW without my kid. We will see if I can hold out past the 24 cancellation period of my flight
I've had lunch and drinks delivered to me at the BRV pool!I’ve spect a lot of time at VGC. they are both lodge style hotels. But in terms of amenities, service, and over experience, I find Poly to be the closest to VGC. If you want drinks delivered to you lounge chair at the (main/lava) pool, that’s Poly, not CCV.

DLR and Aul are apparently much different than WDW for DVC. That really is too bad. I did search for a room service menu at BWV but didnt find one and then realized they didnt have room service there.I'm looking forward to seeing your report afterwards. Like you, I'm used to a certain experience from the DL area. While I don't order room service often, it's nice to have it as a choice when needed. VDH and VGC are basically full service hotels. I'm wondering if any of the wdw resorts are close to that. I saw the comment about getting served from a lounger at BWV. I wonder which other places offer that.
Only WDW resort with room service (after covid) is the GF. Sad.DLR and Aul are apparently much different than WDW for DVC. That really is too bad. I did search for a room service menu at BWV but didnt find one and then realized they didnt have room service there.
Adult-only trips are amazing. Just try to relax and enjoy!Woke up this morning with some extreme Mom guilt of booking a trip to WDW without my kid. We will see if I can hold out past the 24 cancellation period of my flight
HAHAHAHA! I told my husband my hair is better in FL, my skin is better, my allergies are better... should we move to FL? He shot me the look of death.Adult-only trips are amazing. Just try to relax and enjoy!
I feel like this will end with you selling Aulani and VDH, keeping CCV, and buying BWV and BLT. And moving to the East Coast.![]()
