Are resale listings cross posted on all the sites, or do I need to search each site for the best point and price I am looking for?

You have to search each site, there's no MLS style listing service that I'm aware of. There is a dvc resale search engine, but it doesn't cover all the sites.

I recommend following some of the larger resale companies on twitter and facebook and getting any phone applications they may have. The email lists and websites are updated slowly, but twitter/facebook and the apps are updated pretty quickly.

We found our contract in less than a week using the iphone app from one of the big resale companies. I had called in less than 15 minutes and got 1st offer in. There were multiple offers behind us. We had secured our offer before they even updated their website I think.

I'm not sure if resale brokers do this, but it would be nice to just call them with a standing offer on a certain contract.

Contracts listed should not be cross posted as I would imagine a member could only list their contract with one resale company. I can't remember the name of the site but like PP mentioned there was a DVC search site which pulled listings to list in one location/site, but i don't know how up to date it is. i would see listings on that site but then when i would go to the actual resale site I couldn't find it.

There are 2 resalers that i know have apps.
You can also sign up on all the resale company sites to receive emails with new listings. Usually sent daily.

Some resale brokers don't require a an exclusive listing when signing a contract with them, some do.

Oops, tried to post a link - but it’s blocked, there is a site you can find via google which has some of the resale companies listings, but not all. When I’m in the market I check the big broker’s sites and I get email from a couple of them. It helps to follow the ROFR thread to get a sense for what a reasonable price is.
