Resale listing totals

Over the last 4 days almost 90 contracts have been listed in total on the resale sites. The number seems high to me, but I am new to this. Is this normal?

So would you consider this a buy time of year? Do annual fees cause people to want to get out quick?

Maybe. Some will just pay the MFs as always, knowing that they will get them back when they close. Others will want out quickly, with the buyer paying 2020 dues at closing (assuming that you close in December).

The more contracts on the market, the more negotiating power the buyer has. But there's still a floor below which, DVC will take the contract in ROFR.

Many US members just pay their annual fees on a monthly basis. Divided by 12, they aren't too bad. But having to pay them all at once right after the winter holidays can be a stretch for some owners. There isn't any extra fee to pay monthly, you just have to have a US bank account to draw the funds from. I don't know why everyone doesn't do that.
