Resale good deal?

We have an offer to purchase a boardwalk resale with june use year. 100 pts at 77 per point. With 100 bank from 03 and all of 04. and we pay 04 maint. Do you think this is a good deal.?. I'm new to post but i have been reading others for months...

First let me welcome you to the Dis-Boards.

I think it's a good deal. It's $12.00 per point less than what Disney is currently charging for BWV points plus you get all of the banked points too.

Yes, I think this is a good deal, particularly with all 2003 and 2004 points available to you!

Yes - compare with SSR. You pay $77 and rent 2003 and 2004 ($10 each) Add closing and MF for 2004 (~ $10). You own it with 2005 points going forward for $67, net vs. $85 for SSR. After considering how difficult it is to find 100 point contracts at BWV - buy it (unless you like SSR better). Better yet don't buy it and I will.

Thanks for the encouragement... We have been waiting for just the right contract and this seems to be the one. I'll keep you posted on how it goes. I can't wait to be an official DVC'er... We are going to disney in 2 weeks and were going to tour Saratoga Springs... but the Boardwalk is too hard to pass up.. and at this time its just the right number of points to get our feet wet...

If it fits your needs it's a good deal but not a great deal. No reason to hold out if it's exactly what you want.
