Resale DVC benefits in the 4/4 gray area

Hi! this is a question specifically for people who had started a contract before 4/4, but didn't close until after. Have you been able to get the Gold AP (DVC), etc? Our contract was submitted in March, passed ROFR on 4/4 (what a roller coaster day!), but didn't close until the end of April. At first they said we wouldn't be grandfathered, but then a day or two later, they said we would be grandfathered. I just asked member services and they said we were *not* grandfathered. We did get a membership card, but for stuff like the Gold AP they actually run the membership number through the system to verify, so based on what MS says, we will not qualify. Has anyone else fallen into the grandfathered group and gotten a Gold AP, or any other benefit that requires validation?

Contact Member Administration (not Member Services). If the contract was submitted for ROFR prior to the cut off date, you should have been grandfathered in for benefits.

thanks again for the suggestion! I just called Member Administration and they confirmed that we do qualify for the benefits with our contract.

We bought / passed ROFR before, closed after. We have a blue membership card and were able to buy Gold AP vouchers (though we haven't activated them yet). Glad Member Admin was able to confirm the same for you!
